I can find the message anymore but someone recompiled the old amos into html5 making it run from the browser. The person only needed permission from francois lionet to publish it

He used a compiler that can translate the old source into html5 javascript. Pascal or something like thatl It was on a closed facfebook group for amiga.

I also remember seeing this on a facebook Amiga group somewhere, but like you I also can't remember exactly when or where in any of those groups.

Note : You only needed to type the word AMOS into the frontpage's searchbox. It comes straight up.
*sigh*

Same message as before. AMOS was good for its time. I used it a lot, and it did what I needed it to.
Nowadays there are better choices.
If I want to compile an AMOS game, I'd rather do it on an Amiga, and enjoy the fun of Amiga Game Creation.

One Meg was plenty in those days, though. You only had (usually) a 320x240 screen to deal with, so all your sprites could be nice and small.
Nowadays you can easily use up 1Mb on just a single spritesheet!!
