Light pollution as well from my house, but, if I could've got out I would've drove up to derwent rerservoir to see it! Shame, as I would love to see the aurora!  Maybe when my arse is better I'll have a little trip to Norway or something in the back end of the year! I'd bob up to Elgin or Fraserburgh if there was a good chance of a look. You'd get a good view from there.
