These videos also work with your phone/iPad's accelerometer, and if you have 'em, a Google Cardboard/VR setup.

My poor cpu went nuts trying to watch that! It's not often the fan even fires up, but to be blasted with warm air from the poor little mac minis air vent!

Really? Huh..
Although, to be fair, it's a HUGE video with loads of scaling used to get the picture back to normality.

Plays fine on the iPad's YouTube app, but the embedded video above doesn't work at all!!

Google Cardboard + iPod Touch + App : in360Tube (because the actual YouTube app doesn't do cardboard on an iPod!!)
Findings.
Neat. Pixelated, but that's to be expected, really.
The iPod's motion sensor must be slightly wonky as my view seemed to drift ever-so-slightly clockwise, so I had to keep turning.
The combo worked really well, though.

After about 5 mins, having my glasses against the cardboard started to hurt my nose.
After 10 minutes, the moving, my balance, the nausea, and the inevitable sickness.. Bugger.

But, yeah, works nicely!

Had a watch, not bad not bad... I think something like this will be a goer when they can get the resolution sorted, and the stitching fixed... Ideal for documentary's and that... Not sure how that will play out on a normal TV mind!

Yeah, difficult to get excited when the guy that's actually there and filming it for your entertainment can't muster any visible entusiasm!

It's clever stuff though
