You're entitled to it. Trying to keep your kids safe is the hardest job in the world.

I'm so bleeding stressed out about this whole thing, but I can't help but look at the news every 10 minutes! How's you?

Yeah, that's me, too.
Trying to keep my mind on the coding, but wandering over to the BBC News site every half hour or so!

Kind of waiting for the whole thing to maybe dim when the weather gets warmer like the regular flu does. I have the debate on the television and sometimes check several sites and twitter. They stil want to let the virus infect 60% of the polulation to create a protective shell around the weak and old people. I hear numbers of a few hundred thousand that wil end up dead with that approach.

This morning they already mentioned that maybe 40.000 to 80.000 people wil die in the next few months. Cancer here kills around 50.000 a year. Here in the city 5 people have been diagnosed and 2 died. I hope they rush the invention of medicine that might work.

We're all fine here. For now at least.

I took a patient shopping today to the mooohassive Tesco Superstore here in MK - it was empty. Not of people. Of everything else. Fuuuuuu.... I've seen photos and vids online, but to see a store like this, with my own eyes, reduced to Vegan foodstuffs only, was pretty scary tbh. Makes you think that what if the supply chain did come to an end. How would I manage? Shudder!

The minister of healthcare(netherlands) just fainted while in debate in parlement. It was live on national television. You could see him having a hard time and he just dropped.

Shows how much work and pressure the healthcare people have right now.

Well, I'm working from home today and tomorrow. My dad and his fiancee have a suspected case of COVID-19 with the dreaded fever and coughing. My brother was in contact with him on Saturday, and my dad came down with the symptoms on Monday, so it's better for me to stay at home where we can make sure we're not infecting anyone else.

My mother said she felt a little bit sore in her throat yesterday. She said it went away later that day. She has not started caughing. Keeping my eye on that.

I had a cramp 2 days ago in my leg and this also started in my other leg as a muscle pain. I had started new exercises a few days before that so I hope it was that. I read that muscle pain also is a Corona feature.

The regular flu has returned here in the region also.

The hospitals have started preparing for a large group of people to be taken into ic. They expect this to start happening next week.

My family aren't coping well with being stuck indoors. I'm getting endless texts and Facebook messages from family members who usually have lives outside of the screen. They're all freaking out!!!

I'll be interested to see how much difference the lockdown makes around here... While we've been staying firmly indoors in our house, we've seen plenty of people on our street out and about as if nothing was amiss. :/

I just hope all nurses get a 12 week 80% paid holiday after this is all over, like everyone else! J/K!!!

Lockdown Day 2 inside the house

Done a bunch of work from home and caught up with a bunch of mates I haven't seen in years and consumed an adequate amount of alcyfrol.

Tomorrow morning, my head is probably gonna hurt.

Also, sorted out dinner for the next 8 days, fuck yeah Seaking!
