The first 9 are available on Paramount Plus.
Not sure why they went with 9..
In the US run, it was 8 for the first half.
*shrugs*

It's the conversion rate. 8 episodes in the US are now worth 9 episodes in the UK. Everything keeps losing value in the US.

LOL!

FWIW, all .. eight, I believe, episodes of Season Two were written and filmed before the strikes.
Quite whether we're getting a back-half to this season, or whether the strikes have stunted the series to only half the number of episodes, I'm not sure.

Either way, that first episode of Season Two was a banger. More like that, please!!

It's not on Apple TV, it's on Paramount Plus over here, and Peacock over in the US.
And it's not on Paramount Plus yet. They've not started showing the second season yet, and will likely wait until next year like they did the first season.
Grrr...

I'm still using the link I used way earlier in this thread, and it's still functional, though.. Yeah, there's away more crappy popups, now.

A forum menber has pointed me in a better direction. No time to watch it though, maybe in a day or two.

An interview with Trey Callaway, who wrote the early 2000s unmade Quantum Leap / Sammy Jo pilot.

A cracking finale.. Oh Boy, what an adventure!
Yeah, that wrapped up WAY better than last year's did. The lack of mystery box helped a ton, creating a much more cohesive storyline.
It did feel a little rushed towards the end, with major plot points suddenly being revealed in a much faster way than they'd likely have intended, but that's 100% due to last years writers/actors strike impacting what time they had left to finish things off.

A good ending.
I do hope there's more, but apparently they've not been renewed yet, so..
..
eek!

Oh gosh!!

In memory of Matt Dale, and since next Thursday is Leap Day (Feb 29th), the Quantum Leap Podcast folk have got together with a bunch of the cast from the new Quantum Leap series, to do a table read of Trey Callaway's Sammy Jo pilot script.
Gotta say, that sounds like it could be super awesome.

The interview with Trey (just above) is one of the last things Matt did before his untimely passing, and is one of the first times Trey had spoken about the Sammy Jo pilot since everything happened back around 2009.

Dammit, I just got cought up, good cliff hanger, plenty of story to go into a third season. I guess thats the curse of modern tv, there can never be enough viewing figures to keep something going, what with the thirty thousand other ways to watch tv.

It really was SO much better in season 2.
It's a real shame.
Still really quite pissed off about that, if I'm honest.
