Whoops, missed a week.
To be honest, the fucking depressing influx of shit news really put me off bothering to do this, last week.
Practically every other thread on the site was about death, destruction and miserable shit, so in a bid to cheer myself up, I ended up making a "Stop posting shit threads" rule for the site.

What better way to cheer myself up, than to go completely fucking nuts, and see if I can get my AGAWFrame C++ Framework to run on a 3DS.
Nothing cheers me up better than a coding challenge!
Over the past few days, I've retrained myself on the ins and outs of DevKitPro, and managed to get a significant way into getting my Framework running in the emulator.
So far, I'm fairly sure that the images are loading from the rom into the game's memory, but next I need to learn all about moving it to video ram, and from there actually drawing the content onto the screen.
But it's going pretty well, and I'm hopeful that it might be possible to play at least some of my new framework games on an actual 3DS, given the right amount of homebrew-hacking to the device.
Of course, not all games will be compatible, and I need to figure out how I'm going to handle the second screen, but it's a good enough start.
