a pocket watch- I'm Welsh and every first-born son on my fathers has always been given the second name Llewelyn, and three years ago for my 21st birthday I was given the old pocket watch which has been passed down this line for generations.

-- oh yeah and also my cuddlytoy Snoopy (from Peanuts)

Right now it's my new keyboard. It looks awesome and at first it really hit my typing speed, but now that I'm starting to get used to it and my typing speed faster then it was before. The main thing I like though is that it really feels high-quality, like I have a high-quality setup. It also makes my setup feel more custom and indevidual, it's not a PC it's my PC.

I do like my sanity... Although, I think I lost part of it at work. I'll have a look today when I go in, but my hopes are not too high for finding it. If anyone see's a lump of sanity floating around (I'm not too sure how far they can travel or at what speed, but I do believe that objects such as walls are no obstacle for the bloody things) just send it floating back in my direction, it might get here eventually. Failing that, I will probably just have to learn to live without it. After all, it seems to be only a little piece that is missing, maybe it will grow back over the weekend.

It's been so long since I lost my sanity, I don't think it will ever be found.

|edit| Nothing wrong with being insane, it sometimes allows you to see things in a different perspective. |edit|

I think I've recently found my sanity.. My games don't appear to be as crazy as they used to be.
..
Dang..

My most treasured possession is probably my Amstrad CPC.
The monitor's fooked, so I haven't used it in about 10 years, but I'll be damned if I'm ever getting rid of it!

My most treasured item is a wood burning picture of three kittens created by my Uncle Shelby who was shot down over Germany in WWII. I never met him but with this item I feel that I knew him very well.

My piano, partly because I bought it myself. It's a Kohler & Campbell upright, and it's very pretty. (and needs a tuning soon.)

Probably my external hard drive containing a backup of my files + settings...

If my house burnt down, I'd grab that and wouldn't be too bothered about anything else.

...

Oh yeah, on second thoughts, I should rescue the cat, too.

For me, definitely my eyes. I dunno what I would do without em.tbh, my life is computers and I hate text-to-speech.

A few trinkets and heirlooms, one being an 1891 German Mauser rifle that my great grandfather captured way back when that still fires, but sits above my server as a reminder of simplistic efficiency. Another thing is a badge from the South African Field Engineers that i cherish.

Another strange item that im particularly fond of is an old planter my grandmother made. It's a kangaroo holding a flower pot that she said i should have before she died. Don't know why i like it, it's just really well-made.

Lastly, My data. I have it backed up on so many sources, it's not even funny. I agree with Hoboben, if the house burnt down, i would be very sure to at least grab my hard drives and leg it.
