Mog	The real system is by far the best since it's what the game was made for, and would only feel natural for. However, if it's overly obscure or is one for efficiency, then emulation. I still have a physical SNES even though there's emulators for every system i own. It's a mixed bag... I sometimes play SNES games on my PSP if i'm traveling, for obvious reasons. Jayenkai	To me it's more lazyness nowadays. Sure, I have a kick-ass collection of systems, but when I can just double click an icon it's so much easier than dragging out all the controllers, and plugging everything in. .. No time for that! -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

JL235	Emulation is more practical. It saves me having to break out the SNES and set it up just to play one game when my PC is already up and running. Most of the time the real thing is the best, but there are some excellent emulators that make playing older games easier. Like the state saving/loading in most emulators.

spinal	I prefer emulation, not just for the convenience of not having to set up a system that I don't have space for, but for the video quality. No matter if a system has 160x140, or 1280x1024, I like the picture that I see to be clean. If I'm playing a low resolution games system, that doesn't mean I want to put up with wavy lines all over my tv and pixels that bleed into each other. I was crisp edges to my pixels. Currently I choose to play SNES games on my wii (through a homebrew emulator, not Nintendos crappy inferior emulator that cant even get the screen resolution right) which I have hooked up to my tv through component cables so that the pixels are nice and crisp. I have tried my snes on my huge tv, but the picture, even through scart is terrible, all those things you never noticed on a small 24" tv sort of jump out at you at 42". I even play my C64 games on my wii. -=-=- Check out my excellent homepage!

Afr0	I don't 'prefer' either, but I stick to emulation for the 3/4s of the year I can't be bothered to find all the cables to my Sega Mastersystem II that I bought on eBay (because my original one died somehow) -=-=- Afr0 Games Project Dollhouse on Github - Please fork!
