How strange that six people here can’t touch type.

Not sure how that's strange, but here's somethig strange to make up for it: I will NEVER be able to touch type. My brain simply doesn't work that way. I can't even play video games without glancing at the controller occasionally.

I would imagine most of those 6 people can touch type, but incorrectly, using their own finger layout. I used to be able to do that, but forced myself to learn to touch type properly. Now that I have, I never look back, it's much faster. |

I can almost do it. It's all those symbols that get me. I can never remember where the ampersand is. I think far slower than I type, so it's not an issue anyway. -=-=- blog | work | code | more code |

When I was learning I had to force myself to go back and delete what I had written, if I had written it using my old style. That was the only way for me to learn it right.

I could touch type once, but I lost the talent. That's what I get for not getting a job that requires typing. I can still type a little, but I have to actively think about where the keys are. I seem to use the correctish fingers if I look at the keyboard though.

I never have been able to touch type. My typing class teacher said I wasn't normal, when I was at school. 21 years on, I still can't do it!.
