Hope you get better soon!

Oddly dreaming....
(Signs of a lack of social skills, and probably that the drugs are doing something very curious!)

I'm having some bizarre dreams of coding characters to fit within this odd reality. It's like my mind wants to create a new Codas sitcom, but rather than simply write the episode scripts, it instead feels the need to create a strange program to do it instead.

I think I've so far tried to add about 4 chrs, but annoyingly I keep waking up, at which point the past hour or so of character coding is wasted.
Damnit

Sounds cool, but only those that understand Binary would watch it

You'd be better off dreaming of all the young fit nurses taking care of you.

Still waiting.. no results yet.
Damnit.
I think they're putting it down as a success, right now, mostly due to them still not knowing what it was to start with.

Blood pressure is still insane. They seem to want to keep an eye on that.

That's doctors for ya, always watching the blood pressure.
Now stop thinking about code and get some rest.

Wow been on socoder for ages and look what happens.

Hope your getting better Jay, and I would be frustrated with no internet connection too.

Which hospital you at, we live relatively close together, I will try and get my boss to install a connection for you

Be well

I've just moved and the best internets I can get for a while are @ Sbux or tethering to my phone for dial-up-like speeds - so I can't feel sorry for you on that account.

But get well and be well!

(Not good at emotion-talk, but...)

Your March has definitely sucked. I hope things go as well as possible, all things considered. Hospitals suck even when you're not actually all that sick, so when you're actually in condition to need one...

Everybody is now getting obsessed with my lack of peeing, as well as my lack of salt in the stuff once I'm done...

If you ask me, they seem to be searching frantically for a way to bring up cholesterol...

Damn doctors!!!

Looks at my neck, you guys...

That's what I thought, you can't get out more than you put in.

"Quick, shove in a catheter....."
And so, Jay gets a second catheter.. two in the space of a week, both of which jay is pretty fucking sure have happened for identical reasons.
Nothing makes you feel completely useless than lying in bed, without even needing the bathroom breaks.

On the one hand, seeing others with your symptoms may help you.
You see you're not alone. Others are on your side.
On the other hand, this shits scary as hell and seeing other people getting fucked isn't good to see at all.

Getting worried for other patients around me, and their similar "waiting for results." positions.. Poor Darren, especially, has been inexplicably awoken at 6am each day, since Wednesday, to be told he won't be in for surgery today again. No news yet, this morning...

I guess that makes my waiting a little easier. I also need results, but mine aren't as immediate. When I do get em, and if I do need op two, that'll be the anxiously waiting bit, with all the associated blood pressure that goes along with it.

Water intake limit STILL in place.
Annoyingly seems to be draining a bit too quickly, today, too.
Already half way to limit, yet have more than half the day to go before the reset hits. ugh.

Dinner soon... ... I was asleep when they asked, so fuck knows what crazy shit I've got coming!

The wonders of hospital coffee, a sure way to make you give up coffee drinking. That stuff is like motor oil.

Hospital coffee is coffe in name only. There is no resemblance to any real coffee known to man. It's foul stuff. The tea is also bad, but tolerable.

I'm now avoiding tea, too.
As much as I'd love to drink more, having a still limited amount of liquid intake is really annoying to keep track of, when people also keep taking away your half-finished brew that you're trying to keep by.. FFS...
Water it is..
People seem not to throw water away. Lazy gits.

That is one thing I always loved about Hong Kong; Nescafe sell decent coffee in a can, everywhere! So it doesn't matter how bad the coffee is; you can always get something decent from a nearby vending machine or 7-11.
