I was looking around for programming on a pocketpc and I found this. It seems pretty cool. www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/djw30/dasher/eye.html

I remember seeing something like that a while ago. I think it'd lead to eye strain or something though

And perhaps it's easier just typing.

However, maybe it'd be good for those occasions where you don't have room for a keyboard.

Cheers

Just watching it gives me eye strain. Maybe you get used to it, maybe it's easier when your actually using it, but until I loose both my arms I won't be trying it.

Even if i lost my arms I think I'd rather write with my nose

I dunno. I tend to look at where the mouse pointer is onscreen. If the pointer followed my eyes, rather than the other way around, wouldn't it be quicker to work with?
..
It would, of course, need to be really accurate, though!

|edit| And it's not exactly cheap, either!! |edit|

It depends though, on what do you do to click? If I'm looking through a list of links, how do I stop it from clicking on one? If it's a case of 'what your staring at is when it will click', what if I'm having trouble reading a link?

I think the problem with this, is that we don't have enough information about how it works in order to post a fully justified opinion.
