Something underwater-y, something spacey, something egyptian-y?

More than happy to compensate you for your time on this Jay, even if it's in unmarked bills through the postal service.

Just listened to Flap Knitted Turtleneck, it's ideal for the ending! I might re-arrange some bits of it for the intro music also

I have a fairly recent version on my laptop which I'm in front of now, although I'm sure the HDD is a okay.

If for some reason, it's not, you'll see a lot of crying emojis somewhere on one of my feeds sometime soon. I'm pretty sure that won't be happening though.

It's alive!!!

and running at an icy cool 7 degrees, that's much better! much slower processor mind and I'm still a lil unsure if the motherboard has any damager on it.

Seems that the graphics card is a bit on the loose side bit it's in situ and all is working, thank flap!

encoding video it's maxing out temps at....24 - 25 degrees C slow as all hell mind, but should be fine for Nes Dev and lighter gaming. video work will be rather arduous though....

In case anyone is wandering it's an old amd a4-3300 chip running at 2.5GHz, only 2 cores and you can really tell the difference, still, slow and steady something something...

Getting the box art sorted out, found a print shop nearby that sells A3 300gsm card, hoping the printer likes it!

Hope you're not spending too much money on card, here! That'd be a crazy thing to end up being the expensive part of the whole endeavour!

nahh, the card cost me 40p for one sheet, the ink cost me not much either handily

Also, found a bargain pc for the kids on gumtree the other day, it's a bit janky but works pretty well, only £10, base unit, monitor and cables.

Specs?

Well, they're going to be upgraded but currently it's running a:

Athlon X3 423 (3 cores - 2.7GHz)
HD 5650
A fairly dead 160GB HDD
3 gig of DDR 800

So, gonna pick up an X4 945 (~£15, 4 cores - 3.2GHz)
8 Gig of matched RAM - again ~£15
A cheapo 250Gb SSD (prolly around £30)

and, it should be pretty good for them, it'll mostly be used for minecraft and roblox I imagine so. well, we'll see how it performs.

tldr: today has been a day of bargains
